Hi there 👋 I’m Emma, an Irish artist based in the beautiful west of Ireland in County Mayo. I was born in Dublin and only made the move out west in December 2020, but I have never felt so inspired to paint in my whole life as I have since I moved. If you have ever been to Mayo, I’m sure you’ll understand why.. it’s such a stunning part of Ireland (and the world, really.)
I have been painting and creating my whole life, and I have dabbled in every medium out there but acrylic has always been my preference. Acrylic allows me to bring a lot of texture, layers, and movement to my art, and to make a bit of a mess in the process of painting. All of the pieces you see in this portfolio are acrylic on canvas and vary in size.
